Kim Stoecklé LAFAY/Lycée Camille Sée/ FRANCE

Lycée Camille Sée Introduction / FRANCE

  • Our High-School is called “Lycée Camille-See” and is located in Colmar, a town near Strasbourg in Alsace, France.

There are about 1200 students aged from 15 to about 21.

In the high school, you can choose to do an option like Spanish, music, art, sport, and others. Some classes are bilingual, particularly in German (ABIBAC), others can do “euro-english” or “euro-german” (which is a history class in English or in Gerlan once a week).

But, not only languages options are proposed. In fact, there is a choir and a theater class. Students prepare a show that they present during the year to the other students, professors and parents.

Thanks to the CVL (students who are elected by the others to represent them) projects are made to bring to life the High-School. For example: theme day like for valentine’s day, swap for Christmas or toys collect for poor children. These projects are very much enjoyed by the students!

Moreover there are “eco-délégués” who made ecological and environmental project like “one month without cigarette”. They want to prevent and make aware the students about the environment and the Earth.

Theme day with decoration and games are proposed but even the food matches with the theme, like Japanese day.

Sport is represented too. In fact, there is a cyclisng section and a sport option. But moreover, on Wednesday afternoon many sport are proposed in UNSS and even competitions are organized. You can choose between, basketball, football, volleyball, climbing, badminton… etc.

As you can see, our high school is multipurpose so everyone can find his way and opened up to the world.
