CREATIVE READING

Creative reading , aims to expand the possibilities of reading by suggesting ways to make reading morecreative and by encouraging a new attitude towardsthe act of reading.

Creative reading has many contributions to human. Itallows us to look at things in a different way. It helpsus solve daily problems easily.

Creative reading studies; It enables the reader toestablish meaningful connections between their innerworld and the outer world through text and images.

It creates an environment where the individual can express the thoughts he / she has made sense of byactivating creative and critical thinking. You can bring fun and educational methods and techniquesthat increase students' interest in reading into yourlearning environments.

Creative reading is thinking.

Creative readings inspire us, disturb us, stir up ouremotions, and reinforce our creativity. When it is theopposite; We get sleepy while reading or weimmediately forget what we are reading.

We are not computers. Therefore, we can not read a book we like and record all the information in it in our brains. However, it is impossible to forget theworks we analyze using the possibilities of creativereading. Characters, places, events, conversations, smells, emotions live and go with us.

eTwinning and Contributions to Us

In 21st century skills , teachers have an active role by interacting,investigating,making decisions,respect each other.At this point eTwinning projects have important position. eTwinner teachers work together and organise activities for their students. The role of eTwinning is important to support measures offered to teachers in the development of technology related digital competences. We had an idea about the educational practices in different schools and countries,developed foreign language practice,used information technologies by using web 2 tools effectively in our lessons, made the lessons more fun by using web 2 tools that made the students more motivated.It helped us about self-development too.

eTwinner students have an an active role during the tasks .eTwinning offered new learning opportunities for students They were more motivated to the lesson and project activities.They had a chance to get to know different cultures by communicating with students with other partner schools.They practiced in a foreign language and it improved. They had also opportunities to develop their digital competences.They used web technologies for eTwinning project.They had an active role during English lesson as they participated in the project.

Besides ,they also socialized .It was really important especially in Covid-19 Pandemic period.Students cooperated with the students from different schools.Besides eTwinning projects increased their critical thinking skills,creative problem solving.They used different tools like brainstorming ,brainwriting,scamper etc.

eTwinning has been a great reinforcement, not only in the classroom, but also in our school work at home.Thanks for all colleagues ,all students.Hope to meet in different project next year.
